"A TIME TO BE HEARD" is the debut single by TREYC COHEN featuring THE BLACK VOICES
TREYC COHEN was a finalist in the over 25s in the 2009 edition of X Factor. The X Factor flew TREYC over to the USA to sing in front of Simon Cowell and Sinitta. After a breath taking performance and to everyones surprise she didn't make the final 12.
This is where her luck changed, TREYC was quickly signed to AMM (ARTIMIS MUSIC MANAGEMENT) who wasted no time in securing a record deal for her with a brand new Birmingham record label AJOUPA.
"A TIME TO BE HEARD" also features the internationally renowned a cappella group "THE BLACK VOICES".
TREYC quoted "It's like having 5 Aretha Franklins on the record with me!"
The track was also the debut release for the AJOUPA record label. It was written and recorded at CMAT STUDIOS which is the largest professional recording studio in the West Midlands. The former Hollick and Taylor studio is steeped with the history of popular music. The studio can even boast the fact that the Thunderbirds TV programme sound effects were all recorded there, and now a long list of today's stars are recording there too.
"A TIME TO BE HEARD" has a universal appeal with a feel good message that every culture can associate with, it is a classy pop track that has already been likened to Coldplay with a gospel twist...
It's a time to be heard so let the record do the talking...
